June was introduced to the Neutrino rafts in 1999 by Ed, who met her in Southern France while he was writing a book about the crossing on Son of Town Hall. She is British, but had lived in France for several years. She crewed on the Son of Town Hall from Port St. Louis to Saintes Maries de la Mer, and became an avid raft advocate. She is now a major player in the Absolute Absolution project. |

Alan was born in northwest England; at 18 he left his factory job to travel and work his way around Israel and Europe. He fell in love with southern France & has lived there for the past 20 years. Alan joined the raft in January 1999 in Lyon. Alan left the Son of Town Hall at Saintes Marie de la Mer, to travel with his dog Geisha, and try his hand at busking. |

LESLIE RONALD Leslie is a Neutrino from way back, having helped to build and crewed on several of the coastal Neutrino rafts of earlier years, including the Town Hall. She has been living in France since 1992, and joined the Son of Town Hall briefly during the fall of 1998 to crew from Cherbourg to LeHavre and then up the Seine as far as Rouen. |

ULYSSES Ulysses, shown here as a kitten when he first arrived at the raft, was born around March 1st, 1999, in Marseille, France. He joined the Son of Town Hall raft in Frioul, France, shortly before we left there, and went right to work evicting all the rodents from the galley, even though still a kitten. In May, 2000, he flew to the U.S. along with Thor and Sigfried to join the Vilma B project. More about Ulysses |
